Exercises for Resolving Elbow Injuries

Using the correct combination of exercises is a critical component of any treatment protocol for elbow injuries. It is essential to become stronger and flexible, while developing sufficient power to prevent the reoccurrence of the injury. All of this can be achieved through exercise.

I recommend trying the following exercises (tried and tested at our clinic in Calgary) at the first signs of an elbow injury. If you are currently seeing an Active Release Techniques practitioner, he or she may choose to slightly modify the exercise routines to suit your condition. However, for most cases, you should be able to do these initial, basic exercises before, during, and after your treatments have been completed.

Release Lateral Epicondyle on Foam Roller
